Branch heatmap dashboard: where to look first

How to compare sales, targets, receivables, collections and categories across branches to detect quickly where detail needs to be opened.

This is where the scene behind the story goes

Real screenshot, operation photo, dashboard or process. No generic stock imagery.

With one branch, you can review the numbers one by one. With fifteen, that same strategy turns the manager into a report analyst.

The problem is comparison cost

If sales, targets, collections and receivables live in separate reports, management has to do the comparison mentally. The more branches there are, the slower that becomes.

A heatmap reduces the first question

The goal is not to replace detail. It is to answer: where should I look first?

A branch may show strong sales but weak collections. Another may miss its sales target but keep very healthy receivables. A third may have one product group falling behind while the rest performs normally.

Color is useful only when the rule is useful

A heatmap should represent metrics the business actually cares about: target attainment, category performance, collections, overdue receivables or aging.

That is why the Metrify branch view is connected to operational rules instead of being a decorative dashboard. The visualization should shorten the path from signal to investigation.
